helps us to provide a qulaity service.
Selby
office gets Top Marks in Care Quality Commission inspection
Our
branch, shown left at 7 Brook Street, had its first Care Quality Commission
inspection and was found to satisfy the demanding requirements of the commission
and was given the top grade possible. Selby residents, either existing service
users, existing care workers or those who are
contemplating
joining us or using our services so they become part of our quality provision,
are welcome to drop in to discuss all aspects of care with manager Sarah Hall.
The office is just down the road from the town council offices and close to
the parking available in York Street.
NCCN
expand onto the South Bank of the Humber Estuary
NCCN have
extended
their specialist services into Barton upon Humber, Scunthorpe, Goxhill, Winteringham,
Coleby and Burton upon Stather in North Lincolnshire. This expansion of the
complex services provided by NCCN is a significant development for the company
and will be followed in the foreseeable future by further expansion on the
south bank.
If you wish to join us in this exciting development and are able to travel to provide care for Service Users with Complex Needs, give us a ring, email mary@nccn.org.uk or complete and send us a complex care application form to join the team. It will be fine even if you are based on the North Bank in the Grimsby, Immingham or Brigg areas.
Inspection
- Overall Grade "EXCELLENT"
In our last inspection a grade of "excellent"
was awarded which classifies NCCN as "exceeding the standards that should
be expected". If you have Acrobat Reader and you want to see our report
to see the details. It has 21 pages and the summary on page 6 says
"Service

for money'. Assessments and care plans are thorough and give staff the information
they need to be able to care for people properly. Service users were positive
about the care they receive, and said that staff were courteous and respectful.
The agency provides excellent information for prospective service users and
their relatives..... this is published in a variety of formats so an informed
decision can be made about whether the agency is able to meet their needs.....the
Learning Disability service has developed with the appointment of experienced
managers and staff. Additional training is now provided which assists staff
to work with challenges"
