Flexibility of Working Hours

We can be flexible, tell us when you want to work every week by completing our Availability Sheet and we will allocate calls only when you want to work. The only proviso is that there is an expectation that everybody will do calls every other weekend -- our service users are still with us at the weekends and still need our help! If you are a student, a job often forces you to miss classes . Company Transport

If you use your own car, we pay mileage for travel to and from each client. If you are not able to use your car or drive but do not have a car we can even offer you the use of one of our fleet cars. This is especially useful if your own transport breaks down
Training

We support staff through training. You will attend at least a 3 day induction programme and once you are 'in post' you will have the opportunity to attend (paid) training sessions and have assessment 'on the job' to obtain an NVQ qualification. This can be a first step into a rewarding career. Claire who is now a nurse in St James Hospital in Leeds said "I don't believe I would be where I am today if it wasn't for you giving me a chance and experience in care".
Staff Support Workers
All staff have support from more senior workers who meet regularly for a supervision session where any problems or worries can be discussed. They also act as mentors and provide shadowing support during induction.

Backup all day, every day
You will never be left to fend for yourself, we are always on the end of a phone in the office with practical or professional nursing support. Call us and we will ring you back.
