PHYSICAL DISABILITY SERVICES

We work with Local Authorities in the North East of England and specialise in large packages of care which are funded by Health Authorities, Insurance Claims and through Individual Budgets. Each team is lead by a qualified nurse and is selected and trained to meet your needs.

You will have your say and take part in the recruitment process if you would like to. This helps you to stay in control but takes away the hassle of doing payroll and other personnel tasks, all support workers are fully employed by NCCN so they all get holiday pay and all the other benefits of employment.

Staff training is specifically tailored to your needs to make sure that you are safe and everyone knows how you like your care to be delivered, we work with Primary Care Trusts in the provision of specialist training but Mary Luckett, Managing Director is a Nurse and Teacher.

You and / or your family will work with our assessment team to write your support plan which can be changed at any time.

We are experienced in providing a whole range of services, including help for people who have their respiration supported by ventilation, acquired brain and / or spinal cord injury. Families find that our flexible approach provides them with peace of mind and the ability to change the package of care to fit around family life.

NCCN have experience of accompanying people on holidays – including those who’s needs are very complex, we will help with finding accommodation which is suitable, doing the bookings and making sure that the holiday is a great success!

If you live in your own home, or would like advice and support to move into your own accommodation, we can work with you and your family to help you make this happen, and then provide all the support you will need to go out and about, join social groups and just do the things you enjoy!
